Kilimani

Kilimani is one of those areas where you can actually have a life without getting in a car every five minutes. Yaya Centre is walkable, there's decent food within reach, and the apartment blocks mostly come with a gym and a generator — which matters more than it sounds when KPLC is doing its thing. Tuesday evenings are calm, almost residential. You'd hear dogs barking, maybe a lawnmower. Saturday mornings are a different story — brunch crowds, people jogging through the side streets, the Ngong Road cafes filling up fast. The frustration? Rent climbs every time a landlord notices the area is popular. Traffic on Argwings Kodhek around 5–6pm is genuinely painful. Parking in older buildings is tight. And most apartments are in large complexes, so if you want space or privacy it costs. Still, for the convenience and the general feel of the place, most people who move here don't really want to leave.
