Loresho

Loresho is the kind of place where you hear birds in the morning and the roads are wide enough that two cars can actually pass each other. It's residential in the truest sense — not much foot traffic, no hawkers, just houses, hedges, and the occasional dog walker. Tuesday evening it's dead quiet, which some people love and others find suffocating. Saturday morning has a bit more life — people washing cars, kids being ferried to activities, maybe a run through the estate. The crowd here is largely middle to upper-middle class: established families, some expats, a few diplomats. If you don't have a car, you will struggle. The nearest proper shopping is a drive away, and matatus don't exactly run through your street. Rent reflects the zip code — you're paying for space, greenery, and calm. It's not flashy, just comfortable and a little removed from everything. That's the point.

Low-key and well-heeled. Not a scene, not a hub. People here are here to live, not to be seen. Mostly families and older professionals. Quiet on weeknights. The energy is basically: everyone has somewhere to be, and it's not here.
